More Goings On at Elizabeth Lake

While walking by Elizabeth Lake the other evening I spotted this pair of Ruddy Ducks engaged in a mating ritual which was quite dramatic with the male pumping his head up and down and slapping his chest as he pursued his less interested female around the lake.  Much better images from elsewhere can be seen at this site:
