More Beautiful in the Rain

Drops of rain accumulate in the leaf of Lady's Mantle, like gems which magnify its features.

The tiny hairs on the leaf of Elecampane hold the moisture off the surface giving the impression  drops are floating above the surface.

An Ivy leaf polished by rain.

It is a wonder that the delicate petals of irises are able to withstand the downpour.

No ants on this peony bud today

A beautiful white iris that does not need any more of this purification!

  1. Great pictures. I like the effective way you've used the rain to highlight the colour, form, texture ....
