Fall Garden Beauties

There are many fabulous garden plants that come into their own in September and October. The very tall (6-7ft) Cimifuga is one of the best.  All plants photographed during the first week of September 2015.
Cimifuga, Bugbane or Cohosh has a wonderful scent that spreads throughout the garden

Colchicum or Fall Crocus. These bulbs need to be planted now for fall 2016.

The Dancing Queens, seed heads of annual summer poppies, Papaver somniferum
