Public Produce Garden - Turf Turning

On Thursday June 28th, the turf was cut, lifted and re-purposed for use in the first ever public produce garden in Cranbrook.  Under the direction of Christian Kimber and the Food Action Committee Network, this project is an exciting new addition to the Cranbrook landscape.
A good crowd of willing helpers came out to the sod turning for this new garden.  The bread was cut and shared as part of a blessing to the garden and a potluck supper was enjoyed by all who attended.
