Combining the Arts

Cranbrook and District Arts Council is happy to be welcoming the Symphony of the Kootenays Administration into their current space on Tenth Avenue opposite Rotary Park.  Lashings of paint have been sprucing up the Symphony office and it will soon be ready for occupancy.  The front of the building, which houses the Arts Council has also been tidied up and trees pruned to make the offices and gallery more visible.  New plants should soon brighten up the outside.  The Arts Council is excited to be finally feeling at home in their new space and is looking forward to an active year advancing the arts in Cranbrook.

Any member of the public can belong to the Cranbrook and District Arts Council.  If you are a consumer of the arts, attend performances, take in local shows and performances, dabble in arts and crafts, a membership will help support the work of the Arts Council and will also keep you informed of what is going on.

Currently the Artrageous Gallery is exhibiting a collection of work submitted for Vis Arts, a members Exhibition.

The Gallery is a great place to visit after a trip to the Saturday Market.
