Around Town and Looking Good

A great number of trees have been planted this year under the direction of city staff and summer students.  Included in the planting hole has been a Mychorriza powder which will hopefully help the trees establish themselves faster in the hostile environment of 'the strip.'  It is great to see best horticultural practise being used.

Varieties of trees planted  include  'Autumn Brilliance' Service Berry, Pink Spire Crabapple, St Paul's Scarlet Hawthorn, 'Summer Charms' Lilac and 'Snowbird' Hawthorn.

Mat Pocock, City Arborist and summer students - fabulous work girls and Mat !
