Name the Trail

The Rails to Trails Public Advisory Committee would like to engage the community in identifying a name for the new Cranbrook to Kimberley Rails to Trails. We would like the name to reflect either a cultural or historic or natural aspect of our region.

If you can think of a suitable name to the trail please send your suggestion to  namethetrail@gmail.com . Please include your name and contact information.

If you prefer the Cities of Cranbrook and Kimberley will also accept suggestions that they will forward to the committee for review by mail addressed to

Leisure Services, #3 1777 – 2 Street North, Cranbrook, BC V1C 7G9 Attention: Diane Butz

Or drop off their suggestions at the RecPlex same address at the Leisure Services desk, attention Diane Butz

Or

City of Kimberley

340 Spokane Street, Kimberley BC, V1A 2E8 - C/O Kris Belanger

The committee will review all suggestions and announce the selected name shortly into the new year.
