RE: East Hill Boundary Expansion or Not?

For those of you who have asked us - we stand behind our letter to the editors of the Townsman and Advertiser and the article posted on the Cranbrook Guardian 100%.
We feel the quotes ( which are on record) speak for themselves.
If Mayor Manjak wishes to clarfiy that the East Hill Boundary expansion will NOT be revisited as part of the 2011 municipal election we will offer him a sincere and heartfelt apology.

  1. Why does the Mayor need to clarify anything, when it was quite clear from his speech that the East Hill is a dead issue? Why does the CLC keep kicking at a "dead horse"? The community has moved on with their lives and on to other more important things; the CLC should too.

  2. Maybe the Mayor should clarify his behaviour at the Brown Bag Lunch which was totally unacceptable for an elected official. The CLC has been doing much more that just dealing wth the east hill issue. The city has moved on but is it possible the mayor and this council have not. Why would the city remove the clause about "no road through the Cranbrook Community Forest" if the city has no interest in moving to the east. Its time for the mayor to clarify.
