Around Town and Looking Good

The Kootenay Child Development Centre opened its doors last Thursday, March 29th for interested citizens to take a look.  Those who will be working out of this space start moving in on Monday April 2nd.  Sunshine yellow, rosy red, sky blue and spring leaf green make this building welcoming, bright and child friendly. Gwen Noble, Executive Director, addressed the crowd thanking sponsors and all the volunteers who had worked so hard to make this project happen.  The East Kooteanay Supported Child Development Program housed in the adjacent building also opened its doors on the same evening.
