Elves go home for the Christmas Holiday and Get Outside

School Christmas concerts are now over for 2014 and school children can be outside and learn from our natural environment for a couple of weeks.  There is so much for them to enjoy in our wonderful outdoors: snowshoeing, bird counts, skiing, boarding, walking, snowman building, building, tobogganing, skating, skiing, boarding and hot dog roasts.  All of these outside activities help to build an understanding and appreciation for our natural environment.  Idlewild and Southstar Trails offer fabulous locations for many of these activities. Thanks Stewart for the photos of Gordon Terrace students and Mr Dureski of course.
