In response to the flooding concerns, the City met with staff from the Regional District, Water Stewardship, Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, and Ducks Unlimited. When it was determined that the culverts at Wattsville Road were obstructed the City installed three emergency pumps on April 8th to pump water over the road to reduce water levels in the lake.
