Public Produce Garden Potato Harvest

Potato digging and a compost workshop created an appropriate end of season celebration for this garden's first season on Sunday September 30.

Considering the late start and late planting of the garden the results were very rewarding.

Over the course of the afternoon approximately 100 people attended to either attend the workshop, share the new potato lunch or learn some more about composting.

Congratulations go to all those who have had a part in the success of this public use garden.
