Kate Fox Named Area Representative for Hospital Auxiliaries


Kate Fox, Past President of the Cranbrook Health Care Auxiliary pictured above with Jason Giesbrecht, East Kootenay Acute Area Director and Health Services Director and Margaret Dawson, President of the British Columbia Association of Health Care Auxiliaries (BCAHA) after her election as Area Representative for the East Kootenays to the BCAHA Board of Directors.  Kate's job will require her to promote education, leadership, communication, and exchange information and ideas amongst its members.  This in turn will support Auxiliaries to reach their goals and objectives of fund raising for their respective healthcare facilities.  Kate's election and appointment took place at the East Kootenay Area Conference and Annual General Meeting held in Kimberley September 29th, 2012.

The East Kootenay Region, with 5 Auxiliaries donated $453,893.00 plus
$9,042 in bursaries in 2011..
