Wildsight presents:
'Peace Out'
College of the Rockies Lecture Theatre

On the surface it's a film about energy extraction in Western Canada, including the proposed Site C dam on the Peace River.
But this film is about much more. There is a strong connection to people who live and farm in the Peace Valley, some of the best agricultural land in the province. The future of the Peace Valley and government energy policies affect us all..
Two local farmers from the Peace Valley will introduce the film and be on hand to answer questions and discuss the film with you. The event is also a fund raiser for the Peace Valley Environment Association, to help them fight the so-called "green energy" of the Site C dam (its really being proposed to feed the oil and gas industry).
