Whats Happening...

                     

This Saturday, Sept 11th at the Cranbrook Farmers Market,  Citizens for a Livable Cranbrook will be hosting a pancake breakfast benefitting the Cranbrook District Arts Council. Plates will be five dollars and include pancakes and sausage. Why not come down to the market for breakfast, a little shopping, and a chat. See you there!

After your visit to the market you can walk down to the Cranbrook Arches at the corner of 9th Ave. South and Hwy #3 which is having its Opening Celebration.at 12:45.  Music and refreshments are on offer. Lets celebrate this wonderful addition to downtown Cranbrook

Looking for something to do on Sunday  Sept. 12, why not head out to Fort Steele for the 33rd Annual Kootenay Country Fair.  There will be a pancake breakfast as well as fair exhibits, demonstrations, a petting zoo, entertainment, wagon rides and so much more.

Looking for some live music then head to Finnegans pub on Friday nights and listen to our local musical talent at Ali Babas Lounge. Its a fun evening.

For a good walk in the woods  - the Saturday hike with the Kootenay Outdoor Club EKOC Saturday September 11 is to Hellroaring Creek Tarns: Hike the historic Perry Pass trail to some picturesque tarns on Helleroaring Creek. 3/2/3 Call Lorne 426-8864

It must be fall as City Council is meeting again this Monday, September 13th at 6pm at City Hall.
